Yesterday we went on a walk with Mr. Lynch. We went up Lifford Road, down along by Marian avenue and the Bótharín. It was very exciting and fun. We saw the saw the main gates to the fair green which were made by a blacksmith. Mr Davoren and Mr Lynch did a little show to show us how people bought and sold cattle. Cian Hughes Ruairí Michael and Conor were the cattle for the show. Robert and Aine were the son and daughter of the man selling the cattle. We then saw where workshouse used to be in Ennis. People were very scared when anybody mentioned the workshouse because people died in the workshouse. We saw the rerraced houses on Steele's terrace. They are 99 years old this year. We then went down the Botharín and we met Georgie Guillfolye. Georgie races pigeons all over Ireland and England. He told us he had 30 pigeons there and 100 altogether. It started to rain we were invited into Georgie's living room until the rain stopped. Then Georgie showed the special clock he used to time his pigeons and doves. We were very lucky to see the racing pigeons and doves in their loft.
